Updating to the Latest Version

When a new version of FW Real Estate is available, an Install v.X.X.X button appears in the FW Real Estate admin header. Click this button to begin the update process.

Before You Update

Clicking the update button opens a pre-update modal. This modal includes a link to the changelog so you can review what has changed, along with checkboxes to confirm you have backed up your site before proceeding. Complete any backup steps before continuing.

Update Order: Main Plugin First

Always update the main FW Real Estate plugin before updating any add-ons. Updating add-ons before the main plugin is updated can cause compatibility issues. Follow this order every time:

1. Click Install v.X.X.X in the FW Real Estate admin header and complete the main plugin update.
2. Navigate to FW Real Estate → Addons.
3. Update each add-on individually using its Update button, or click Update All to update all available add-ons at once.

Updating Add-ons

The FW Real Estate → Addons section lists all installed add-ons. When an update is available for an add-on, an Update button appears next to it. If multiple add-ons have updates pending, use the Update All button to update them in a single action. Always confirm the main plugin has been updated first before running add-on updates.
