Video and audio file support (Multi-Media tier) with the Video Files and Audio Files addons. Self-hosted MP4 + YouTube/Vimeo embeds + MP3/WAV/OGG playback.
Layout template selection from Classic, Elegant, Fancy, Pinterest, and Polaroid. Single Niche gets 2 templates configured; Multi-Media gets all 5.
Category structure mapped to your work organisation: by project, by year, by client, by medium, or any custom hierarchy you prefer.
SEO Booster addon configured with schema.org markup, Open Graph tags, auto meta descriptions, and clean SEO URLs.

Discovery call
We discuss your creative niche, sample work, preferred visual style, and how you want the portfolio organised. No sales pitch, just scope alignment.
Gallery configuration
We install the required addons, configure FW Gallery, set up category structure, choose templates, and wire up SEO Booster. Working on a staging environment where possible.
Sample content placement
We upload 5-10 sample pieces to confirm the layout works with your actual work. You review, we adjust, we iterate until the look matches your vision.
Handover and training
30-minute walkthrough of the admin panel covering uploads, category management, and SEO field editing. You take over for ongoing content.
Before you start
FW Gallery installed on a Joomla website. Choose the Professional or Agency tier if you do not have it yet. If you need help getting Joomla or FW Gallery set up, mention it in the order form and we advise during the discovery call.
Sample work ready. 5-10 pieces of your work in the format you want them showcased (photos, videos, audio, PDFs for design work).
Brand assets: logo, typography preference, colour palette if you have one. If not, we use sensible defaults and leave the theme work to the Theme Integration service.

Is this the same as Photographer Portfolio Setup?
No. Photographer Portfolio Setup is photography-specific and includes watermark protection, photographer SEO tuning, and client proofing setup. Creative Portfolio Setup is for videographers, graphic designers, musicians, podcasters, and mixed-media creatives. Different workflows, different file types, different layout priorities.

What creative niches are supported?
Videographers (motion reels, shorts, documentary), graphic and web designers (static showcases, PDF portfolios), musicians and sound designers (audio tracks, albums, sound libraries), podcasters (episode galleries), mixed-media artists, and illustrators. If your work fits a visual or audio portfolio format, FW Gallery handles it.

Single Niche vs Multi-Media: which should I pick?
Pick Single Niche if your work is in one medium (video only, audio only, or design only). Pick Multi-Media if you work across media, for example a videographer who also releases podcast episodes, or a designer who includes motion graphics showreel alongside static work. Multi-Media enables all the file type addons and all 5 layout templates.

Do I upload all my work during setup?
No. We upload 5-10 sample pieces to configure the layout and verify the look works with your actual content. Bulk uploading the rest of your portfolio is your responsibility after handover. FW Gallery supports batch uploads through the admin, so this is straightforward.

What about selling my work?
Portfolio-to-store conversion (print sales, download sales, licensing) is available as a custom development engagement. Contact us after your portfolio is set up to discuss commerce integration. For musicians specifically, we can integrate with platforms like Bandcamp or Gumroad through embeds rather than full custom e-commerce.

Can I change the layout template later?
Yes. FW Gallery lets you swap layout templates from the admin panel at any time. Multi-Media tier includes all 5 templates configured so you can switch freely. Single Niche tier gives you 2 templates; additional template configuration is available as a small follow-up engagement.

How long does it take and what happens after I order?
Single Niche takes 5 business days and Multi-Media takes 7 days. Within 24 hours of your order we schedule a discovery call to confirm your niche, sample work, and preferred visual style. We configure the gallery on a staging environment, upload your sample content, iterate on the look with you, and run a 30-minute handover call once you approve.
