MLS/IDX/XML Integration Service

MLS/IDX/XML Integration Service

FW Real Estate supports manual property entry and CSV import out of the box. For sites that need to synchronize listings automatically from an external data source — such as an MLS feed, IDX provider, or a custom XML or CSV export from a third-party system — a custom integration service is available from the Fastw3b team.

What This Service Covers

The integration is built to match your specific data feed. Common scenarios include:

  • MLS feeds — automatic import of property listings from a Multiple Listing Service
  • IDX providers — synchronization with an Internet Data Exchange source
  • XML or CSV data feeds — scheduled import from any structured property data export, regardless of field naming or structure

Because data formats, field mappings, update schedules, and authentication methods vary significantly between providers, this is delivered as a custom development service rather than a generic built-in tool. The integration is tailored to your feed format and your FW Real Estate field configuration.

Typical Integration Capabilities

  • Mapping external feed fields to FW Real Estate property fields, custom fields, and dictionary values
  • Scheduled or triggered automatic updates (new listings, price changes, status changes, removals)
  • Image import from remote URLs
  • Agent assignment based on feed data
  • Location data population into Countries, Regions, and Cities dictionaries

How to Request the Service

To request a custom MLS/IDX/XML integration, contact the Fastw3b team directly. When reaching out, include as much of the following information as possible:

  1. The name of your MLS, IDX provider, or data source
  2. The feed format (XML, CSV, JSON, API endpoint, etc.)
  3. A sample of the feed data or field list, if available
  4. How frequently listings need to be updated (e.g. hourly, daily)
  5. Any authentication requirements for accessing the feed
  6. The volume of listings expected in the feed

Submit your request through the Fastw3b.com support page or the contact form on the product page. The team will review your feed specifications and provide details on the scope and timeline for your integration.

Before Requesting

Ensure your FW Real Estate installation is fully configured before the integration is built — specifically:

  • Dictionaries set up with the property types, statuses, categories, and locations relevant to your feed
  • Custom fields created for any feed data that does not map to standard property fields
  • Agent profiles in place if the feed includes per-agent listing assignments

A well-configured site reduces integration time, since field mappings are defined against your actual component setup.
