Cart Widget Not Visible
The cart widget requires two things to be active: the FWFM Cart plugin and the FWFM Cart Module (mod_fwfm_cart). If the cart does not appear on your site, check both of the following:
- Go to FW Food Menu → Addons and confirm the Cart addon is installed, then verify it is enabled in the Joomla Plugin Manager.
- Go to Extensions → Modules and confirm the FWFM Cart module is published and assigned to the correct menu items and module position.
Without the Cart plugin enabled, the menu operates in display-only mode — no "Add to cart" buttons or checkout form will appear.
Orders Not Received by Email
If order notification emails are not arriving, work through the following checks:
- Go to FW Food Menu → Settings → Orders and confirm the Admin email field contains the correct recipient address. If left blank, Joomla's default site email is used.
- Check that Customer email notifications is enabled in the same settings tab if customers are not receiving their confirmation emails.
- Joomla's built-in mail function can be unreliable depending on your hosting environment. Install and configure an SMTP plugin (such as Joomla's built-in SMTP mail settings under System → Global Configuration → Mail) to ensure reliable email delivery.
- Check your spam or junk folder before assuming emails are not being sent.
Price Modifiers Not Showing
Price modifiers (such as size or option-based price changes) are provided by the FWFM Prices plugin. If modifiers are not appearing on menu items, check the following:
- Confirm the Prices addon is installed via FW Food Menu → Addons and enabled in the Joomla Plugin Manager.
- Open the individual menu item in the admin and verify that price modifier groups have been assigned to that item. The plugin must be active and groups must be explicitly linked — price options do not apply automatically.
- If groups exist but are not appearing on the frontend, confirm the groups themselves contain at least one active option with a defined price value.
Orders Cannot Be Placed
If customers are unable to submit an order, note that orders are blocked in two situations:
- The cart is empty.
- One or more required checkout fields (such as Name, Phone, or Email) have not been filled in.
Ensure customers are aware that all required fields must be completed before the order can be submitted.
