Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is this add-on included in my subscription?

    Yes. FWRE Property Manager is included in the Professional and Agency tiers of the FW Real Estate subscription. You get the add-on plus updates and support as long as your subscription stays active.

  • Is Property Manager included in my subscription?

    Yes, Property Manager is included in all FW Real Estate subscription packages. Install it from your Client Section.

  • Do agents need admin access?

    No. Agents use Property Manager entirely through the frontend Client Section. They never need Joomla administrator credentials, keeping your admin panel secure and simple for non-technical users.

  • How does the approval workflow work?

    Agent-submitted properties appear in the standard admin properties list. Admins can review, edit, publish, or unpublish listings. Email notifications alert admins immediately when new submissions arrive if enabled in settings.

  • Can agents delete their own listings?

    Yes, agents have full control to remove their properties. Deleted properties cannot be recovered, so we recommend instructing agents to unpublish instead of delete if you want to preserve historical data.

  • How are permissions configured?

    Property Manager respects Joomla ACL. Set which user groups can submit properties via the FW Real Estate component options Permissions tab. Each individual agent only sees and manages their own listings.

  • What file types can agents upload?

    Property Manager supports JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG image files. Agents can upload single images or batch upload via ZIP file. The system creates optimized versions (full, medium, thumbnail) automatically.
