Is Files on Map free?
Yes. This addon is free and does not require a subscription.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?
Yes. Google requires API keys for all Maps embeds. Get a free key from the Google Cloud Console and paste it into the plugin settings.

Can the plugin read GPS data from photos?
Yes, when File Meta Data addon is installed. EXIF GPS coordinates populate the latitude and longitude fields automatically on upload.

Can I show maps in a sidebar?
